Creating Strong Alliances, Turning Around "Sick"
Ones

Live Audio-Session featuring two of the nation's foremost experts on alliance management and co-authors of The Strongest Link:

Gene Slowinski Gene Slowinski, PhD
Director, Technical Assistance Program
Rutgers University
Matt Sagal Matthew W. Sagal, PhD
Senior Partner
Alliance Management Group

Are you in a "challenging" co-development partnership or research alliance? While partnering is supposed to be win-win, the reality is not so simple. Every alliance runs into snags (some more serious than others); the art is knowing what to do about them. Drs. Gene Slowinski and Matt Sagal are masters at alliance management and repair. They’ve worked with dozens of Fortune 500 firms and have built a comprehensive set of tools, metrics and methods to ensure alliance success.

Whether your partnership has pneumonia, the flu, or just a common cold, the upcoming audio-session will provide practical suggestions to help you get back on track – without having to leave your office or spend a fortune on consulting. Your whole team (including your partner!) can participate with you; you’ll also learn from colleagues at other companies.

To see if this session is right for you, here are some questions to ask yourself:

  1. Are your expectations of the partnership being met?
  2. Is your project meeting its goals?
  3. Are decisions made jointly?
  4. How are you personally feeling about the arrangement? How is your team feeling?
  5. Are you clear about the partnership's future? Whether it should continue or end?
  6. Are you confident that your intellectual property is protected and your company's competitive position is secure?

If you have doubts about any of these areas, you will find this 90-minute presentation with interactive Q&A useful and enlightening. You can ask questions of these top experts and figure out next steps. Plus you’ll receive reference materials, templates and tools to guide you.
