Christensen), The Innovator's Solution |
Would you like to learn the difference between:
-
A niche
strategy and identifying market footholds that can launch
breakthrough growth?
-
When to accept gratefully the growth
available in the former?
-
When
to move aggressively to exploit the potential of the latter?
If
so, plan on participating in a special audio-conversation with
Dr. Michael Raynor, one of the leading experts on
innovation and growth, and
co-author of
The Innovator’s Solution, (follow-up to Clay Christensen’s
acclaimed bestseller The Innovator’s Dilemma.
In this interactive, 90-minute session,
Raynor will explain how some of the most successful innovations in
business history have not accepted the tradeoffs behind traditional
differentiation strategies. Instead, they have broken
tradeoffs through a process of disruptive innovation. Examples
include:
-
Low
cost vs. high quality automobiles Toyota
-
Small
vs. full-featured photocopiers - Canon
-
High-end merchandise at low-end margins -Costco
-
Low
fares with frequent service - Southwest
By participating in
this session, with Q&A woven throughout, you will learn to recognize
and exploit disruptive innovation opportunities within your own
company's product lines.
If you are setting
product strategy or looking to tap into new markets or technologies,
this session will provide you with insight and inspiration - as well
as answers to your specific challenges. This is an
excellent opportunity for product development decision-makers and
cross-functional teams to listen together.

team to join you - the fee is the same as long as you are on one
